Our history

When we started in 1984 as MIM Property Services (today part of Invesco), we were one of the first UK-based property managers to specialise in European investment. We worked exclusively with institutional investors (as we continue to do today) and grew quickly. In 1993, MIMPS was bought out by Prudential Financial of the USA and operated as PRICOA Property Investment Management. Following an MBO in 2004 that retained all key staff and clients, Rockspring was formed. Today we are an owner-managed business with all the flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit that goes with it.

1984

MIM Property Services

Established in 1984 as MIM Property Services, the European property investment arm of what is today INVESCO, plc.

1993

PRICOA

Bought out by Prudential Insurance Company of America in February 1993 and operated under the name of PRICOA Property Investment Management Limited.

2004

Rockspring

Management Buy Out on 1 July 2004, retaining all clients and key staff.

2012

Rockspring - a fully independent, 100% owner-managed partnership which prides itself on entepreneurial flexibility and responsiveness.
