Rockspring appoints Suengtak Lee to head activities in North East Asia

Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP has appointed Suengtak Lee as head of its activities in North East Asia. He will be based in the firms Seoul office. Suengtak specifically will take responsibility for leading Rockspring’s equity raising in South Korea, Japan and China as well as overseeing and building on the firm’s existing relationships in the region.

Prior to joining Rockspring, Suengtak was a Deputy Director at KIC (Korea Investment Corporation, the Korean Sovereign Wealth Fund) Real Estate / Infrastructure Team where he led various direct and indirect real estate investment mandates globally. Prior to KIC, Suengtak had responsibilities for various roles across acquisition and asset management for domestic and foreign real estate at Mirae Asset Global Investments, and for transactions advisory services related to real estate and NPLs at Samjong KPMG’s Investment Advisory. Suengtak graduated from Korea University in 2002 and holds an AICPA. Rockspring established operations in Seoul in 2011.
